Disadvantages:
Excessive coolness - In late autumn, early spring, and winter, you need additional equipment to stay warm, such as sleeping bags and blankets.
You need to choose to build on trees (or similar things). Before I decide to bring a hammock or tent, I will investigate where I will camp.
Extra Weight - My hammock is lighter than most tents, but it can only accommodate one person. This is a portable single camping hammock, Recently, I bought a larger hammock, or a portable folding double hammock, which can accommodate two people.
Less privacy - hammocks are great in dense forests, but if you are camping in crowded campsites, hammocks provide less privacy than traditional tents. To protect privacy, you can usually place the waterproof cloth more steeply, but you still haven't fully covered it up, and you don't have a completely private place to change clothes. But recently I saw on the website that there are products selling shower privacy tents. I am considering buying one that suits my size.
Overall, I prefer camping hammock - portable hammock single with waterproof sheets, and in some cases I also carry a tent.
